Extremely versatile Tripod suitable for a range of photographers
As a large proportion of my photography is automotive I was looking for a tripod which as well as allowing the standard style of shots would allow extremely low down angles.
Previously my low down shots have been band held however as I’m experimenting more with night photography I needed the ability to restrain the camera as low as possible angled up and with long exposures this needed to be sturdy.
After looking at a lot of different Tripods I settled on the K&F as the pure versatility appeared to be more than many tripods at triple the price. I was pleasantly surprised upon just how flexible the tripod is, and if you’re prepared to think even further outside the box I was able to mount the camera upside down allowing it to be just millimetres above the ground for the best possible angle.
With the ability to control every aspect of the tripod gives greater flexibility, the ball head and ability to mount the column horizontal or vertically gives a lot of control. I was skeptic all about how far the camera can over hang but providing the camera body is within the limits of the legs your find, and with the ability to hang you kit bag underneath for extra stability I can’t see have any trouble with that aspect. I’ve yet to try the mono-pod mode but imagine that will come in handy in tight places and the fact I’ll always have it with me as it’s part of the tripod is great.
I was really pleased with the included carry case which also includes a strap, a real bonus as my camera bag is messenger style and doesn’t accommodate a tripod so I can just throw it over my shoulder.
This is my first K&F product but will be sure to consider their other products as I grow my accessory collection.
I’ve included a few photos of how I’ve managed to set up the camera on the tripod.
